In a desperate campaign to convince Americans that he is actually doing something as President, Trump has taken to Twitter to list all that his administration has “accomplished.”

Cody Keenan, former President Barack Obama’s speechwriter, quickly struck back at Trump’s shameless begging.

In actuality, Trump has zero major legislation accomplishments to boast of. He has, however, signed over 50 Executive Orders (watch ERIN Burnett Skewer TRUMP Video), a move especially hypocritical after Trump repeatedly criticized Obama for signing Executive Orders “because he can’t get anything done.”

“Nobody heard of an Executive Order, but then all of a sudden, Obama – because he couldn’t get anyone to agree with him – he starts signing them like they’re butter. So I want to do away with Executive Orders for the most part,” Trump said to a crowd of fans.

The jury is still out as to how exactly Obama signed Executive Orders “like they’re butter.”

Trump’s desperate tweets, in reality, are only vague references to conservative buzzwords.

Trump cited the 2nd Amendment, which has never been threatened, despite Republican and NRA campaigns aimed at convincing people otherwise.

He cited our “strong military.” As of 2016, the United States has spent more on its military than the next eight nations combined. Despite his attempts to prove otherwise, Trump is not responsible for that.

As for having nominated a Supreme Court justice, the fact that Mitch McConnell stole a nomination from Obama after Antonin Scalia died on the bench and stalled until Trump was elected is hardly an “accomplishment” for the President to boast of.

Finally, as for the “record stock market,” this bull market is 103 months old and began in March 2009, just after Obama took office. Trump, however, only owns 11 months of this market.

In other words, to quote a common refrain: Thanks Obama.
