President Donald Trump’s ego has gone international. While in the United States, at least we had his wackiness in check. But in the wake of his two week trip to Asia, now everyone is getting a dose of the narcissism and insanity that is Donald Trump.
During a news conference in Japan, Trump couldn’t take a reporter’s question because it had nothing to do with him. When asked about China’s President Xi Jinping, who was described as ‘coming off a very successful run,’ here’s how Trump responded:
Excuse me, so am I.— Highest stock market in history, lowest unemployment in 17 years, a military that’s rapidly rebuilding, ISIS is virtually defeated in the Middle East. We are coming off some of the strongest numbers we’ve ever had, and he knows that and he respects that and he’s a friend of mine. We’re friends.

How absurd to think that Trump can take someone else getting a compliment instead of him. The response itself is shocking because it tells how much praise this man needs in order to simply be functional. The dignified thing to say is ‘hey, yes, he’s done a good job,’ and simply move on. Yet, we never get anything close to normal with this man. It’s quite embarrassing that he’s our representative and the face of America right now….embarrassing and distressing at the same time.
Well, we’re only a day into his Asia trip so let the wackiness begin!
