The President of the United States just doubled down on his attacks against NBC News and the First Amendment of the Constitution this morning.
“It’s frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write, and people should look into it.”

FWIW, in the same comments about the press, Trump was asked whether there should be limits on what it can write.

The President’s morning tweetstorm about the media indicates that he’s infuriated by the new NBC report that revealed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called Trump a “moron” for demanding that our military increase our nuclear arms stockpile tenfold.
Trump has always had a tumultuous relationship with the media, despising them for their refusal to blindly venerate him but also purposefully exploiting their coverage as a vehicle for his base-riling culture wars and interminable feuds, knowing that anything he says or does can become the basis for three days of 24-hour coverage and discussion on cable news networks.
But as his tantrum over NBC News’ reporting drags into its second week, it appears that his obsessive fury and frustration over having his subordinate’s disrespect exposed so publicly is overwhelming his questionably functional mental capacities.
It should be and still is utterly appalling to see the President of the United States speak so crudely about of one of our nation’s most precious freedoms – and we must fight tooth and nail to keep him from turning his idle bravados into dangerous action.
Do you believe Trump’s Fake News Rants hold water?
